Do you have any beginner classes and tips for my first ride?
We sure do! You can search for “Beginner” classes on the app or built-in display and take 10-minute Method, Power or Tempo rides.
Prior to your first ride, we recommend ensuring your bike is adjusted correctly. Check out the above video to ensure your first ride is comfortable. After you’re all set up, make sure that all your adjustment knobs are locked and tightly fastened, and you’ve got a water bottle (or two) and a towel ready to go. Remember to work hard, but take a minute to recover if you need it. And heads-up: you might want to turn off those email and text notifications so you can really get in the zone and minimize distractions during a class. This is YOUR time.
How can I share my account?

What kind of metrics can I expect in class?
During a ride, your instructor will cue Total Power, Torq, RPMs, and Current. Here’s how to decode it all:
Torq-This is your resistance. You’ll crank it up to climb hills, and lower it for flat roads.
RPMS-This is your speed, i.e., how many times your wheel is revolving per minute.
Current-A combination of Torq and RPM to measure your energy output at any given point in your ride.
Total Power-A combination of Torq and RPM that measures your total energy output.
TorqBoard-This is the leaderboard that ranks all riders in class by Power Score.
Do you have any tips for maintaining the bike?
To optimize the performance of the Flywheel Home Bike, we recommend:
Daily:
- Ensure that your bike is leveled. If your bike is rocking, you can turn the leveling feet underneath the front or rear until the your bike is no longer rocking.
- After each ride, apply a disinfectant spray to a lint-free cloth and rub down the handlebars, saddle and adjustment knobs and handles. Avoid strong detergents. You should use only silicone, solvent and acid-free lubricants.
Weekly:
- Thoroughly clean your bike by applying a maintenance spray onto a soft cloth and cleaning all plastic parts, the wheel and exposed framework parts, including the stabilizers and plastic casing. Do not spray maintenance spray directly onto the bike. In addition, we recommend regularly checking the bike (saddle, drive train, brake and pedals) for any wear and damage.
